When I found out we were moving, I was really unsure of how things would pan out for me career-wise. My undergraduate degree is in nutrition science and I did not feel the push to continue my education in that direction any longer.
All the sudden, opportunities organically came into my life, focusing on one of my creative gifts: photography. Being able to jump back into the photography space was refreshing, considering I’ve been artsy my whole life, but had not been able to practice + pursue it during college. After taking the leap of committing loadsss of time, money and uncertainty to a long-time dream, I was ready to take on clients.
But who?
Keep reading to find out about my first couples session in Pensacola.
Having left an established community, finding people to work with in a new area has been difficult. So, when Hannah and George were in town visiting us, I offered them a couples session at our favorite beach. All the doubt and discouragement of being client-less in a new town was gone. S/o to you guys!
We had the most fun playing on Perdido Key. My first couples session in Pensacola was nothing short of perfectttt!!! We arrived an hour before sunset, got warmed up, made some jokes and it was on. I was sincerely living my best life.
The session ended with them kissing and romping around in the waves. It was so special to see them play and love on each other. Especially since this week they are celebrating their one year anniversary of loving each other!
George & Han, thanks for letting me capture you and spend time with you! You are sweet, hilarious and absolutely lovely. Our time together was a gift!
Hugs,
Phoebs
