I live in a sleepy coastal town that is Anacortes, WA and shoot in the surrounding Whidbey Island area. I've cut back on traveling for work a lot in recent years. However, please don't let that keep you from reaching out. If my travel schedule aligns with your desired shoot location & date, I'd love to be a part of it. Contact me & we'll see if it works out.
Each of my packages vary in the amount of photos delivered. Rest assured, I'll deliver plenty of images of everything I capture. I prefer not to limit each session to a set number of images delivered.
No. Editing is a large part of the final product, which hugely encapsulates the art and style of the photos I deliver. I won't skimp on delivering any photos that you'll want or need, but if there are some missing in your gallery, just ask!
Yes! Elopements were the "gateway" event that hooked me into this industry in the first place. They are so special. I also love to shoot micro-weddings!
Once you book your session, I'll send over some examples and guidelines to alleviate any outfit woes.
Yes! I hiiiighly recommend using a professional printing lab for prints (especially those you'll showcase in your home). Once you receive your gallery, you can also order prints through the same website. Let me know if you need help finding it.
On paper, a regular session can last anywhere from 45-70 minutes, but depending on if you add film or polaroids to your package, a session can take up to 2 hours. I'd recommend leaving your post-session schedule clear just in case it does run long.
A 30% deposit is required to reserve your date in my calendar with the remaining 70% due 1 month before your wedding. If you'd like to break up the 70% in several payments, I'm happy to work with your schedule!
I'd prefer not to! A huge part of my philosophy in photography is capturing you how you are, only removing things that are temporary or not normally there (bruise, scrape, acne, etc.) Not the well-earned laugh lines by your eyes.
Not usually for sessions or weddings. However, I do run holiday specials on prints and/or albums.
If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date then have to move or cancel it, the deposit is legally non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made in order to reserve your new date.
I'm a big proponent of seeing what happens and embracing the weather as it comes our way, as it can create really cool and unique imagery. If there's a chance of it being an unpleasant experience for you or damaging my gear, we will definitely reschedule.
Some travel expenses are already accounted for in my starting prices. But, depending on where I'll be traveling to get to your event, the expenses may vary. As long as the bare minimum (airfare, a place to stay and transportation) is covered by you, I'll take care of the rest.
As far as booking goes, I book flights, stay and rental car on my own. I'll confirm with you beforehand on logistics & price before booking so that you don't have any surprise costs come up on your end.
To estimate costs, you can check how much hotels/airbnbs typically cost in the area and date we will be staying, and how much roundtrip flights are from SEA or PAE airports.
