Jacob and Kayla’s elopement morning around Deception Pass was quiet, sweet and sincere. They had just recently moved to Washington, and wanted a big wedding until they realized it felt like too much and just wanted to get married without all of the stressful logistics and hub-bub.
Since moving to Whidbey Island, I have shot at this location a lot—it is perfect, close to home and such a gift. However, sometimes it can be a challenge to create unique shoot concepts when I’m there so often. This anniversary shoot of Ryan and Brooke at Deception Pass State Park was an unexpected surprise
