Mark and Grace’s intimate fall wedding in Florida was definitely my favorite wedding of 2019. I think a lot of why I loved it so much was because of Mark and Grace themselves. I felt so invested in this couple + their day after only being there for a few hours because of how kind, welcoming and full of joy they were.

Mark kept saying how much he appreciated our hard work because the photos we were taking would be the photos they’d show their grandchildren one day. WHAT A KIND MAN. It’s a dang privilege to be a part of days like theirs & connect with such special couples. ⠀
Destin Bay House was a new venue to me and I loved it! It gave me all the camping + Parent Trap vibes. I had no idea something like this exists in on the Florida Emerald Coast.
The fall season in Florida is remarkably different than where I come from in the midwest. Being that this was my first fall season as a Florida res, I was not sure what to expect. Their wedding day was much cooler than a typical fall day on the Emerald Coast … it was blustery and moody, full of anticipation for Mark and Grace to promise forever to one another.
Post-ceremony bridal portraits (my favorite part of every wedding)
The palpable joy of these moments are contagious and I have yet to get tired of them.
